Soetwater Coastal Resort temporarily impacted by maintenance work

The City is currently undertaking critical maintenance work at the Soetwater Coastal Resort outside Kommetjie in the Far South. As a result, some of the campsites will be closed for a few days.

The City of Cape Town’s Coastal Management branch is currently busy with important maintenance work at the Soetwater Coastal Resort.

The following campsites are impacted and temporarily closed while work is ongoing:

• Oystercatcher Park – from 10 March to 1 April 2026
• Anker campsite – only from Monday to Thursday every week from 10 March to 1 April 2026. Weekends from Friday to Sunday are open for bookings.

The City apologises for any inconvenience.
